videocamera[Andrew, despite having been for all intents and purposes asleep for the last week, looks tired and a little disheveled when he comes onto the screen. He runs a hand through his hair, pulls at his hoodie, looks uncomfortable - all before he even starts talking.]
I was in one of those coma things, right? How... long was it? Did anything, um--
[It's easy to spot the moment when he remembers that - as long as no one messed with it - he'd had his camera on and recording when he'd gone down. He suddenly looks more alert, glances over in the direction of his desk, then shuts the feed off without finishing the question.]
[Private to Needy, after watching the camera footage]
You came to see me. [He doesn't actually say thanks in so many words right away, but... He glances down at the smiley face drawn on his hand and decides not to just leave it there, even if he feels awkward.] I saw what you recorded. The stuff about what was going on on the ship. That... It was cool.
[Private to Lydia]
[This comes a fair bit later, after he's been up and around for a while.]
You didn't change your mind about the training thing while I was... asleep or whatever, right?

[He goes to the dining hall first, needing to stretch his legs, get some water and something to eat. The thought of the coma makes him uncomfortable; it's unpleasant. The footage from the camera had run out not too long after Needy had given him the update, the battery dead. It was enough that he'd seen Lydia dragging him out, then getting him brought back in. He'd heard Needy talking to him and seen Stiles and Lydia check on him once or twice. It's weird, that they'd do that. It was weird seeing himself like that.
He tries not to think too much about it. After eating, he goes back to his room but he doesn't want to stay there. Finally, he heads for the deck, just to breathe for a while, now-recharged camera hovering behind him. At least his powers don't seem to have weakened any further after his week asleep.]
